Our December PlayMaker of the Month Award goes to Suba United FC striker Memunatu Bangura based on her spectacular performance in our EO league including two match MVPs.
Our November PlayMaker of the Month Award goes to Curry based on his performance in our weekly U-15 3v3 tournaments during the period.
Curry was the first player to log 2 MVP titles in November. The other candidate for the award was Ado who also achieved 2 titles.
Our October PlayMaker of the Month Award goes to Adama M Koroma for her exceptional performance in the Rangers Queens match against Soccer Queens in which her lone goal gave Rangers their first ever victory in Equal Opportunity league history.
Our September PlayMaker of the Month Award goes to Mohammed "DAX" Bangura for the leadership he demonstrated in our daily recreational basketball games during the period.
In particular DAX helped ensure play time was allocated fairly during periods of extreme participant turnout.
Our August PlayMaker of the Month Award goes to Marian K Mansaray for her excellence in the sprint events during our track & field season.
Marian won 3 golds and 1 silver overall in our 2024 season across the 100 and 200m events.
Our July PlayMaker of the Month Award goes to Sulliman for his assistance with our basketball infrastructure expansion during the period.
The most critical element in sports development is facility development. By his participation in our infrastructure projects Mr Sullay is making a fundamental contribution to basketball development.
Our June PlayMaker of the Month Award goes to Alusine Rehme Wilson for his contribution to sports development through his work as a sports journalist.
Alusine has been prolific in his coverage of sports events in the Greater Makeni Area and beyond including including major international events such as the Total Energies CAF tournament.
Our May PlayMaker of the Month Award goes to Fatmata A Conteh for her strong performance in the middle and long distance athletics events - she was unbeatable in the 800m, 1500m, and 3000m events.
Fatmata also won the award in March.
Our April PlayMaker of the Month Award goes to Ibrahim "Dinho" Kamara for his outstanding performance in our April 100m call-up event in which he finished first. In general Dinho has demonstrated excellence in the sprinting events by clinching at least one gold medal in every single meet featuring a sprint event.
Our March PlayMaker of the Month Award goes to Fatmata A Conteh for her outstanding performance in our March athletics meet. Fatmata won the Women's 1500m and 800m events and placed 2nd in the 3000m.
Our February PlayMaker of the Month Award goes to CJ for his standout performance in our 3v3 basketball tournaments. Specifically, his 61 pt MVP performance in a February 17th tournament was the difference maker between him and the other MVP title winner during the period, Mohammed Allie.
Our January PlayMaker of the Month Award goes to Kathy, Ajax, and Raiden for supporting our program since 2021 with donations of sports equipment and with other items for the StarBurst Park community at large.
