PlayMaker of the Month

Mosenatu Kanu of the Makama community  is our December PlayMaker of the Month based on her excellent performance in the Freetown Africell Marathon.

Mosenatu, 13,  placed 1st overall in the 10k event.

Samuel Tholley of the Makama community  is our November PlayMaker of the Month based on his leadership in our November Open 3v3 Basketball Tournament.

Samuel's style of leading by example was on display during that tournament as he put his team on his back and led them to the championship earning him the MVP of the tournament.

Fatmata F. Kanu,  is our October PlayMaker of the Month based on her performance in our 2025 Equal Opportunity League. 

She was match MVP of the season opener last month because of her stellar defensive effort for RIA FC.  Kanu is also a member fo the premiere league team, Mean Queens.

The man behind the camera, Mr. Galma,  is our September PlayMaker of the Month. 

For the past several years, Mr. Galam has captured countless fantastic sport images for our program. Thank you Sir. 

Hassan Lumeh aka Alaska is our August PlayMaker of the Month based on his contribution to sports development through his work as a football referee, particularly in our Equal Opportunity League for which he has been our preferred option for the past several years. Many thanks to Alaska.

Alusine Rehme Wilson is our July PlayMaker of the Month based on his contribution to sports development by way of his outstanding work as a sports journalist. Mr. Wilson is a 3-time winner of this award. We thank him for his service.

Our June award goes to Marian Jumu - Mena Queens striker and member of the Sierra Leone national team, Jumu's offensive contribution in the tournamnt - summarized by her 2 goals - were critical in powering the Sierra Queens to the championship. 

Our May PlayMaker of the Month is Samba based on his impressive performance in our U-14 3v3 tournaments during the period: Samba was the first player in May in secure two MVP titles.

Emma Tarawalie is our PlayMaker of the Month for April based on her spectacular performance in the sprint events at the Camp Heros Inter-Area Athletics Event on April 19/20.

Ibrahim Koroma aka Baby Jordan is our PlayMaker of the Month for the 2nd month in a row based on his continued excellence in our U-14 3v3 tournaments during the period of March: Baby Jordan led his age category with 2 MVP titles.

Our February PlayMaker of the Month is Ibrahim Koroma aka Baby Jordan based on his impressive performance in our U-14 3v3 tournaments during the period: Baby Jordan led his age category with 2 MVP titles.

Our January PlayMaker of the Month Award goes to Suba United FC striker Marian Jumu based on her superb performance in our EO league final which included 5 goals. Marian was also the Finals MVP.
